At Gloucester Church we’ve suspended public worship gatherings, in response to COVID-19 advice from the Ontario Government.
So, we will not be open for worship this Sunday. Yet, we can still worship “together.”
Here’s how to connect:
– Please join Sabrina, Chris, and Pastor Denise: 10 am, Sunday morning, https://www.facebook.com/gloucesterchurch/ (Look for a photo of our church building on the home page.) You can connect with the service, even if you don’t use Facebook.
If you don’t want to log in, choose “not now.” You should still be able to view the service live or anytime later.
– Or, visit our website to listen to sermons. (Recordings are uploaded a day or two after they are preached.) www.gloucesterchurch.ca
Regular activities are cancelled in the church building, and the office is closed.
We check all emails and phone messages.
Check our What on? page, listed above for activities being offered
through online groups.
As well, the Sunday School page will have ideas & activities for family worship.
For those at home with kids this is a rare opportunity, an experience your kids will likely remember for decades. What will they recall? What if your family unplugged devices for a while to play games? Do a puzzle or get outside? Read stories? What if you found ways to talk with kids about Jesus, his love, and his call for us to trust him? What if you prayed together?
Jesus is still working during isolation time!
There is no home so quarantined that he cannot enter. No challenge so daunting that he cannot bring hope. How is the Holy Spirit inviting you to grow in faith this week? How might Jesus draw your family closer, or connect you with a neighbour?
